Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs., sitting for long periods of time, etc. Operation of tractor and farm machinery; working in greenhouse.

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; may require some evenings and weekends as needed.



Job Summary

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment’s Kentucky Tobacco Research & Development Center (KTRDC) seeks a dedicated and skilled Research Analyst to support its mission of utilizing plant-based technologies to benefit Kentucky agriculture. This position plays a vital role in advancing farm research by overseeing day-to-day operations such as sowing seeds, seedling production, maintaining float beds, ensuring proper hygiene and pest control, and operating tractors and related equipment. The Research Analyst also manages the KTRDC farm team and provides essential support to the research activities of faculty and staff investigators.



As a key member of the KTRDC, this role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to agricultural innovation while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
