
Risk Manager - Reporting, Analytics and Data Management
Job Description:
The Role
The Risk Manager, Reporting, Analytics and Data Management is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the underlying risk reporting and analytics infrastructure employed by various risk groups across the firm. You will act as a liaison between the Corporate Services Technology Group and end-users in the Enterprise and Business Unit (BU) Risk & Compliance community to ensure that the objectives of both groups are being met, and you will help to maintain the oversight process that allows data to be incorporated into the environment in a secure, yet readily available manner. You will be a key resource providing support for existing reports and development of new reporting.
Scale and Efficiency Drive down the cost of reporting by employing new and existing technology and by removing the need for systems resources for development of most reports
Data Quality Improve the quality and reliability of risk data through consolidation
User Experience Improve the experience of end-users through improved data availability and integration of the environment with their preferred tools
Vitality Enable the growth of analytics by providing an environment where new data can be ingested and shared throughout the user community while maintaining appropriate controls
Reporting Improve the efficiency of existing reports, simplify development process for new reports and enable self-service by sophisticated users. Provide support as needed to end-users.
Analytics & AI Improve the availability and quality of data in support of a growing analytics & AI community.
Data Governance Provide support for Data Governance processes
Technical Liaison Continually engage the business user community to understand needs and provide solutions to problems that might not otherwise be addressed.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience with database technology (Snowflake, Oracle, etc.) and ETL processes
Expertise in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
3+ years in a reporting or data analytics role
Familiarity with Risk Management Practices
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or a related field of study
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Excellent relationship building and influence skills
Excellent skills in communication, analysis, and problem-solving
Desire to remain continually aware of the changing technical landscape and its impact on the risk data environment

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-153,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
