Shift

40 hours/week 9:00AM – 5:00PM. Monday – Friday with flexible hour options if a weekend experiment is necessary.



Job Summary

In the Simkin lab, we focus on understanding how inflammation creates the environment for proper wound healing. Our research aims to uncover why some wounds heal while others regenerate after injury, and how the immune system controls these responses. We value diversity, empathy, creativity, and clear communication. We also prioritize independence and a strong desire for self-directed learning.

The Scientist position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our laboratory. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of independently troubleshooting issues in a research environment.
