Job Summary

The Center for Translational Chemical Biology (CTCB) requires staffing by highly-trained synthetic/medicinal chemists capable of experimental design, planning, implementation, and analysis for collaborative projects supported by the CTCB cores.

Primary emphasis will include synthetic design and implementation to support all medicinal chemistry and synthetic probe-based efforts in CTCB and the corresponding compound/bioactivity data tracking/management using CDD Vault.

Candidates should have experience with CDD Vault and the design/implementation of rigorous milestones for probe/lead development.

Other major job responsibilities will include:
  • synthetic support of collaborative team research initiatives
  • data entry, analysis, and interpretation
  • participation in grant/manuscript preparation
  • standard reporting/dissemination via written/oral presentations


Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Synthetic/medicinal chemistry, MS Office, ChemDraw, Adobe, Excel, excellent communication skills in both written and verbal method, experience with CDD Vault or equivalent.

Preferred Education/Experience

PhD in natural products chemistry or related discipline plus one to two years of experience in research.
