Job Summary

Supports translational neuroscience research within the lab of Paula Monje by assisting with the coordination and conduct of innovative clinical trials focused on Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injury, contributing to the advancement of new therapies and improved patient care.

Utilizes specialized skills in state of the art spatial biology technologies, immunohistochemistry, and high resolution microscopic techniques to investigate nerve tissues and cells from human donors, as well as advanced cell culture technologies and in vitro modeling systems to support regenerative medicine research in the human nervous system.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The Scientist II will have specialized skills in state-of-the-art spatial biology technologies, immunohistochemistry, and high-resolution microscopic techniques to investigate the properties of nerve tissues and cells from human donors. Sophisticated skillset on advanced cell culture technologies and in vitro modeling systems for applications in regenerative medicine of the human nervous system
