We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to support Student Finance at our beautiful lakeside campus. In this role, you'll perform advanced accounting duties related to student billing, collections, payment processing, and financial reporting. You'll apply your expertise in accounting principles to ensure the accuracy of student accounts, reconcile financial data, and maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.

This position is key to maintaining the integrity of student financial data and transactions. You'll coordinate third-party and sponsored billing, manage delinquent account resolution, process student refunds, and support non-student invoicing. You'll also prepare audit documentation, assist in developing internal controls, and recommend improvements to systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and data security.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relational database systems, along with strong analytical skills, independence, discretion, and the ability to interpret complex regulations and instructions, are key to success in this role. Strong leadership, customer service, and technical skills round out the ideal candidate. It would be helpful to also have a background in higher education, government, or similarly regulated environments to be highly successful in this role.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of four years full-time equivalent related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Starting pay range: $57,566 - $69,079

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule:
typical college schedule is Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30
