
Senior Administrative Assistant - Apprenticeship
The Workforce Training Center at North Idaho College is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support the growing Apprenticeship Program. In this fast-paced, people-centered role, you'll be the go-to administrative expert"”handling everything from scheduling and records management to customer service and event coordination. You'll provide daily support to the program manager, help organize meetings and advisory boards, and keep the team moving smoothly by managing communications, budgets, and compliance-related documentation.
You'll greet and assist apprentices, business partners, and prospective applicants, offering clear, friendly guidance on program offerings and requirements. You'll also assist with recruitment and outreach, support data tracking and reporting needs, and ensure daily operations are running smoothly. This role plays a critical part in ensuring apprentices, employers, and stakeholders have a seamless, professional experience with NIC.
We're looking for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the confidence to manage a wide range of administrative duties independently. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable using database systems, and skilled at managing competing priorities with attention to detail and professionalism. Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or Applied Associate's degree or certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program and a minimum of three years full-time related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Starting pay range: $19.80 - $22.77

Work Site Location: Workforce Training Center, Post Falls
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
