How will you make an impact in this role?

The Global Commercial Services (GCS) Product Analytics group is currently hiring for a Senior Analyst, Business Banking Analytics who will be responsible for delivering insights to optimize performance, inform product design, and drive customer engagement with the Business Banking portfolio. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging a deep understanding of customer and product data to drive business performance. He or she will bring a unique balance of technical skills combined with a strategic mindset and the ability to communicate effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support product strategy & decision making by conducting in-depth ad hoc analysis and deep dives into data to evaluate effectiveness of product campaigns and features
  • Become an expert in product and develop deep understanding of technical and functional capabilities
  • Define and deliver robust and scalable reporting that provides accurate and timely visibility into key product metrics and trends
  • Evaluate and integrate new data sources by performing data profiling and validation, and design structured, scalable datasets to support reliable reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
  • Design and implement scalable dashboards and data tools to enable business users to access product data in self-service fashion
  • Complete end-to-end analytical projects with minimal direct supervision, including scoping, data preparation, data analysis, and visualization
  • Communicate conclusions, implications and recommendations of analyses in a clear, concise fashion

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an analytical role, performing deep-dive analyses and defining key business metrics that drive strategy; Financial services experiences is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc).
  • Experience working with large datasets, including experience planning, conducting, interpreting, and explaining the outcomes of data analyses
  • Extensive experience with analytic tools and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Looker)Experience working collaboratively across teams and with partners across all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience and succinctly summarizing complex concepts
  • Extremely strong SQL skills and proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) for data analysis
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and concepts

  • Drive & Persistence: Proactive & self-driven; Resourceful, has grit, and a positive “can do” attitude. Possesses a strong willingness to work hard and efficiently to get the job done
  • Collaboration: Ability to successfully influence and bring together internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals
  • Communication Skills: Communicates information, ideas, and concepts clearly
  • Attention to Detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project
  • Lots of questions: Curious, loves learning. Not willing to accept surface level answers

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
