The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The Consumer Banking Organization was created to meet ongoing American Express Members’ financial services needs beyond the card and build upon a broader Membership promise. The mission of the American Express Consumer Banking organization is to develop Everyday Banking Products that provide members unparalleled value, service and convenience while also serving as a key source of funding for the Company.

The Senior Analyst, Product Management will be a crucial part of the core team responsible for the growth and evolution of our Amex Savings products, including high-yield savings and certificates of deposit. This role will primarily support the launch of new product features to grow deposits and deepen engagement with the digital banking experience but additionally will provide centralized support on Savings-wide processes including intake/backlog management and project launch coordination. This Senior Analyst will play a central role in the development of customer engagement and launch readiness strategies and will partner closely with key stakeholders across Product Management, Product Development, Pricing, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner cross-functionally to support the development of new web and mobile capabilities for Savings accounts, including requirements definition and development of strategies for servicing, communications, marketing, post-launch monitoring, and delivery on new product approvals
  • Manage the Savings intake, backlog, and launch coordination processes to ensure complete capture of new feature needs and priority, as well as facilitating project updates
  • Leverage both internal customer insights and external marketplace trends to inform project plans and roadmap
  • Responsible for defect submission and complaint escalations in Savings Account Management
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with key partners including Savings Product Management, Analytics, Legal, Risk & Compliance, and Finance

Qualifications

  • Strong project management and communication skills with ability to navigate ambiguity, multiple priorities, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively with partners across different functions and levels
  • Analytical mindset and familiarity working with qualitative and quantitative data
  • Solutions-oriented, strategic problem solver with ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity
  • Positive “roll-up your sleeves” attitude, ability to stay calm under pressure and flexible amidst change
  • Passion for delivering a great customer experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
