The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express products and services through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing, and experiences. We are focused on developing forward thinking ideas and work across channels, end-to-end experiences in digital and beyond. We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Project Management.
The Senior Analyst, Project Management, OnBrand, Card will report to a Director, Project Management and be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of integrated, complex, card campaigns. This role will manage multiple projects concurrently, leading delivery from intake through launch while ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met.
The Project Manager will collaborate closely with OnBrand strategists, capacity managers, creatives, producers, developers, and account managers, as well as American Express marketing partners, to deliver best-in-class card design campaigns.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must be solution-oriented and flexible. They should have experience creating, monitoring, and maintaining project plans for high-visibility initiatives with rigorous timelines and parallel workstreams. They should be skilled in creating, monitoring, and maintaining detailed project plans while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and delivery outcomes.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Directly manage creative planning and execution for multiple project simultaneously within the Card Design portfolio.
- Collaborate and drive the development of comprehensive end to end project plans including timeline development.
- Work closely with project team leads to proactively manage end-to-end project delivery for a given set of card projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with the highest quality level.
- Proactively assess any risks and escalate any issues as needed.
- Partner with Account Leads to ensure client requests are feasible and in-scope.
- Partner closely with PMs across the team to ensure consistent execution and seamless handoff of downstream digital and social work align to the card design vision.
- Lead strategic updates to card design across the OnBrand card portfolio, a critical and highly visible area of the business.
- Drive cross-portfolio alignment between domestic and international card initiatives.
- Manage projects that span multiple markets, ensuring coordination across card and international teams.
- Serve as a key connector between U.S. and International stakeholders to deliver cohesive, globally aligned card design updates.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn OnBrand tools and systems such as Adobe Workfront.
- Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Help maintain a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere through clear communication and a collaborative mindset.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager from a leading creative agency or in-house brand.
- Strong knowledge of creative production and Card design systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent follow through and ability to keep projects on track and delivered on time.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Ability to adapt quickly and be open-minded to learning new skills and adaptable to changes to workflow.
- Comfortable using various project management essential systems and tools like Workfront, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work with or quicky learn a Project Management tool (e.g., Adobe Workfront)
Salary Range: $65,500.00 to $102,500.00 annually + bonus + benefits
