Position Summary:

Join an exceptional team at NeighborHealth as a Senior Applications Analyst supporting Epic Enterprise Applications. Principle responsibilities and duties: Providing certified Epic build expertise and experience for successful product implementation, providing certified Epic design expertise to analyze organization's current business practices and translate them into configurations and workflows. Supporting departmental/ functional team with application and information system knowledge. Several years supporting the analysis of business requirements, design of workflows and build of configuration in a health care environment required. Epic Ambulatory, Healthy Planet/Compass Rose or related certification preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides certified Epic build expertise and experience for successful product implementation.
    Provides certified Epic design expertise to analyze organization's current business practices and translate them into configurations and workflows.
    Supports departmental/ functional team with application and information system knowledge.
  • Provides end-user support as appropriate for the application and coordinates with the Help Desk to provide on-going support, includes provision of documentation and training appropriate to the Help desk function.
  • Maintains designated master files/logs and documents changes to same.
  • Participates in vendor training or internal training on assigned system or enhancements.
  • Assists in the design of testing plans for enhancements and upgrades and any required system building.
  • Implements test plans for system enhancements and upgrades and assists in the implementation of system enhancement and upgrades.
  • Assists in the coordination of report needs for assigned areas.
  • Maintains and develops new skills through participation in internal or external continuing education programs as appropriate.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Several years supporting the analysis of business requirements, design of workflows and build of configuration in a health care environment required.
  • Epic Ambulatory, Healthy Planet/Compass Rose or related certification preferred.
  • EducationBachelor Degree in computer science, health science, or business and
    Masters Degree and/or Management experience
  • ExperienceAt least five (3) years in patient care, patient management or business
    office-type experience with at least 3 years in Healthcare IT support

Salary: Starting at $99,840 up to $153,920 based on experience
