The Cryptocurrency Investment Team, within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT), is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to enable Cryptocurrency Investment business. We are looking for a person who has hands-on software engineering experience building cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures (Containers and Serverless). Able to navigate and mange technical complexities while developing secure and scalable solutions for our customers.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ Years Related Technology Experience, financial industry experience a plus.
- Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle using Java/J2EE technologies, REST, Webservices, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.
- Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of development technologies and test automation frameworks Selenium, Karate, JEST, Cucumber Serenity..
- Passionate about Test Driven Development, developing robust software, writing testable and maintainable code.
- Build end-to-end test automation for applications.
- Create and manipulate test data for complex projects.
- Define automated regression tests for future and ongoing efforts.
- Experience with Application development and integrating terraform with Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Experience with source code and project administration tools such as GIT, JIRA.
- Able to perform many roles within the agile squad from development to QA to systems analysis in order drive sprint deliverables to completion.
- An aptitude for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. Experience with building and maintaining unit tests and mock services using Jest, JUnit, Mockito unit testing framework.
- Strong data driven problem-solving abilities. Collaborate with cross squads to define, design, and ship high-quality software solutions.
- Agile environment work experience. Collaborate with Agile team members to build comprehensive and cohesive solution approaches. Support project and release planning.
- Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to optimally convey technical concepts.
