Job Description:

The Role

The FundsNetwork team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will work with the FundsNetwork Platform team to deliver added value to FundsNetwork customers. The candidate will work with several products to gain functional expertise and look to improve the customer experience. You will work closely with the Contracts Management team, the Relationship Management team and Investment Managers to solve problems.

You will interact with the technology teams to define functionalities and ensure those developments meet customer needs. The FundsNetwork products are deeply embedded across the entire enterprise and you will work with other business units to meet each of their customers unique needs. There are competing priorities and the ability to develop a business case to make data driven decisions is a must.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems
  • 4+ years of experience in business analysis in a product development environment
  • Experience thinking strategically about business problems and solutions
  • Capable of supporting significant system implementations in a highly technical ecosystem with complex customer data flows
  • Excellent requirements analysis, story writing, story validation and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Can document testing use cases drawing on deep familiarity with customers, features and platform
  • Agile mentality and experience in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro or similar Agile backlog management tools preferred
  • Ability to assist in the creation and ongoing management of the scrum team’s product backlog
  • Proven time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
  • Engage with LRC (Legal, Risk & Compliance) and other stakeholders to complete pre-release requirements such as eReview
  • Collaborate across multiple squads and functions (Analysts, Delivery, UX, etc.) to support product delivery
  • Ability to synthesize sophisticated details and requirements into easily consumed concepts
  • Experience making formalized recommendations to senior leaders
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with diverse partners across all layers of the organization
  • Experience working with UX Design and comfortable providing guidance to UXD.
  • Strong data analysis experience
  • Proven experience in analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Tableau preferred

The Team

The FundsNetwork Platform and Delivery team exists to provide applications and access for third party asset manager partners. We manage several platforms including FundsNetwok.com in order to support the growth of their business. In addition, we are responsible for several internal applications that help Fidelity manage the complex distribution environment.
