Job Description:

As part of the Portfolio Management team within Fidelity Technology’s Strategy & Planning function (FT S&P), we demonstrate technology-focused strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to support the planning and portfolio management processes for technology groups across Fidelity. The cross–enterprise collaboration enables the delivery of solutions that meet the emerging digital expectations of Fidelity’s customers and clients.

The Role

Fidelity Technology is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to join the team to provide sophisticated administrative support to executives within the Strategy and Planning organization. The role requires excellent communications skills and the ability to prioritize tasks as you serve as a focal point of a multifaceted, fast-paced organization working closely with the Strategy and Planning leadership team. As a key member of the team, you will influence the work of the leaders and team by assisting with key meetings, events, programs, and serving as a point of contact for a variety of FT S&P engagement programs. Within Fidelity Technology we have a small network of executive assistants and working collaboratively is required to support each other, while executing on important tasks for our leadership team.

The Expertise and skills you bring

  • Executive assistant experience: attention to detail and the ability to work with all levels of associates, including senior management, some in remote locations.
  • Proactive and forward looking, with a strong sense of ownership and involvement.
  • Highly organized and takes initiative, finds opportunities to enhance our culture.
  • Very strong Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Proficient in the Agile environment, understands its practices and tools used by our strategic leaders to report progress.
  • Flexible, collaborative, open and willing to engage with multiple teams in a dynamic environment.
  • At least 5 years of administrative support experience to executives.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor and previous corporate environment experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education or experience.
  • Polished executive assistant with professional maturity and attention to detail who can optimally work with all levels of associates, including senior management.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills. Must be flexible, collaborative, and willing to adjust your work style to suit an evolving organization.
  • The administrative team within FT S&P and across Fidelity play a vital role in the company's success, and individuals serving in these positions are recognized and valued by their colleagues as key members of their organization and team.
  • You work directly with, and provide support to, management at all levels of the company and frequently deal directly with business partners as well.

We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
