· You will help design, build and support mission-critical enterprise software applications
· You will define product solutions by working directly with business and product teams
· You will actively promote good engineering practices and standards
· You will help navigate new technologies like text analytics, machine learning, and cloud-based deployments to help deliver high value to our business
· You will keep abreast of the latest engineering trends and practices and bring them back to the team when appropriate
· You will work with the team to continuously improve our craft of software engineering
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
· 5+ years of experience building various components of scalable enterprise applications
· Front-end web development using UI frameworks like Angular/Ionic, RxJS, Redux/NgRx and TypeScript
· Development experience with building responsive web applications using component libraries like PrimeNg or Material-UI
· Middle-tier service development with strong API design skills (Java preferred)
· Familiarity with running software on Cloud Service Providers like Amazon Web Services
· Strong technical design, development, analysis and problem solving skills
· Experience with relational database development is a plus (Oracle preferred)
· Exposure to recommender systems, search engines (Solr or ElasticSearch) and/or text analytics is a plus
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
