THE EXPERTISE AND SKILLS YOU BRING

- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering

- 5+ years of experience in software development

- Proven experience in crafting and building user experiences and web service applications with test automation frameworks

- Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design

- Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3, XML, and UNIX

- Expertise in web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP) and Spring Boot

- Experience with AWS, CI/CD using Jenkins, ES6 is highly desirable

- Multi-stack engineering knowledge across various development technologies and test automation frameworks (Java/J2EE, Junit, Ruby, Cucumber, Selenium, Serenity, JavaScript/Angular, Karma, Spring, Web Services, REST, HTTP)

- Passion for full-stack software development and writing testable, maintainable code

- Ability to understand technical designs, define strategies, and collaborate effectively with fellow developers

- Experience with relational databases and scripting languages (Python, shell)

- Excellent communication skills and a standout colleague approach, with an interest in learning new technologies

- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in crafting, developing, and implementing web applications in a dynamic financial services environment (knowledge of equities market and trading of stock, options, and mutual funds)

- Ability to define and complete test strategies and scenarios with a development approach centered on business objectives

- Experience in effectively contributing to projects at various stages of their life cycle

- Passion for crafting the best end-to-end customer experience and a dedication to delivering strong results

- Coordinating functional/technical group discussions with analysts and developers

These applications support a range of services, including account opening, trading solutions, cashiering, reporting and alerts, market data and research, modeling and rebalancing, as well as risk management and compliance tools.
