We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with passion to develop engineering solutions that enables service reliability and efficiency in cloud. This role offers significant exposure to cutting-edge software engineering tools & techniques, exposure to enterprise network & systems (both on-prem & cloud), opportunities to develop deep expertise in the network (cybersecurity) engineering domain from a software engineering perspective.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years focused on cloud-based development.
Highly skilled with Object Oriented Programming in Python (Design, Develop, Test, Debug, Deploy)
Experience with UI development & RESTful APIs
Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
Experience working in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Apache, Flask is a plus.
Cloud Experience will be needed, preferably AWS or Azure – Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Firehose etc.
Experience deploying solutions to AWS cloud environment and proven understanding of CI/CD & DevOps
Experience working with Power BI for analytics, reporting, or data visualization.
Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies, patterns, and architecture
Experience with engineering / integrating logging & monitoring solutions
Good understanding of cloud solutions and cloud networking (preferably AWS)
Hands-on experience with cloud architecture and design, including design patterns, scalability, reliability, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, or similar.
Experience working with Power BI for analytics, reporting, or data visualization.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
The Team
Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) sets Fidelity’s strategy, policy, and standards for the security of the enterprise cyberspace. This role is within the Edge Security Squad focused on developing code for automation, implementing, and supporting solutions that improve our capabilities for threat reduction, vulnerability elimination, deterrence, incident response, resiliency, and recovery policies and activities. The team works on cutting-edge solutions to protect Fidelity’s technology landscape and deals primarily with Web and Network security solutions including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Malware protection, Firewalls, and other network focused cybersecurity solutions.
