Core Responsibilities:
- Create engaging learning content to support business success
- Determine appropriate platform / delivery mode for learning needs
- Apply continuous improvement mindset to all learning content / processes
- Partner with Subject-Matter Experts to create training that meets business needs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to lead instructional design projects from inception to delivery, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders' expectations.
- Demonstrates strong interest in growth and knowledge in the realm of adult learning theory and learning technologies
- Knowledge of the creation, use and deployment of digital media
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision and balance multiple projects while working constructively in a team environment
- Superior interpersonal, writing and communication skills enabling interfaces with all levels of organization and client stakeholders
- Knowledgeable and experienced in applying adult learning principles and instructional design theories
- Ability to create learning materials to include facilitator/instructor and participant manuals, pre and post work, assessments, certification plans, job aids and other documentation and follow up tools
- Proven Instructional Design and development capability
- Proficiency with course authoring software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Microsoft Office Suite, Vyond, Articulate 360, Learning Management Systems, and Content Management Systems
- Performs other related duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive instructional design experience preferred but not required
- Experience with the Kirkpatrick Model of Training Evaluation
- Basic eLearning instructional design and experience, i.e. Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- CPTD Certification, degree in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or similar education or experience
