Senior Investigator

The Role

As a Senior Investigator on the Background Investigations team, you will be working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment to provide comprehensive global background vetting of new hires and in-service background reviews for Fidelity. You will receive comprehensive training in interviewing, briefing, and other investigative techniques from the Internal Investigations team and potentially investigate other sensitive matters for the firm. You will supervise a team of investigators and apply deep investigative knowledge and expertise on a range of matters.

The location for this role is RI, NH, NJ, TX, FL, CO, UT, or KY.

· Provide outstanding leadership and investigative expertise

· Drive operational excellence utilizing exceptional managerial capabilities

· Enhance risk mitigation efforts by conducting comprehensive and effective reviews

· Partner closely with key stakeholders across the firm

· Implement transformational upgrades to modernize the team’s process and technology

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

· 7-10 years of law enforcement, investigations, security, risk, or similar experience

· Demonstrated expertise in investigative analysis and techniques

· Exceptional relationship management and communication skills

· Outstanding leadership and operational process management skills

· Ability to work independently and under pressure and handle multiple tasks and priorities

· Ability to quickly master and navigate sensitive organizational matters

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree

The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
