Senior Project Manager
The Role
The Manage External Entities/Affiliates team provides technology services to Fidelity and its affiliates. The Senior Project Manager works with our business partners and other IT team members to document requirements, plan, develop, and deliver on affiliates technology initiatives. As Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the implementation of affiliates’ technology projects by partnering with a cross-company project team consisting of business leaders, implementation partners, vendor partners, architects, engineers and executive sponsors to deliver platforms and tools that meet business requirements while supporting business process change activities across multiple workstreams. In this role, you will serve as a business analyst responsible for documenting business requirements, developing test cases, and conducting training sessions to support user adoption of newly implemented technologies.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Possess 8+ years of professional experience spanning information technology project management and business systems analysis.
- Possess technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills and able to engage and collaborate with stakeholders, gather business requirements, create business requirement documents, and translate to technical requirements for engineers.
- A history for working successfully across technology, business, and operational functions.
- Knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure, i.e., networks, endpoints, and servers.
- Experience in training associates to use enterprise systems and driving the adoption of enterprise systems.
- Experience driving timely reporting of project metrics, KPIs, budget and resources.
- Capable of partnering with and influencing individuals at multiple organizational levels.
- Effective communicator with proven interpersonal skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and/or Agile Project Management
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage his/her time, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Known for consistently optimizing support workflows and improving the customer experience.
- Dedicated to creating positive customer experiences through initiative driven support and engagement.
- Experience managing vendor implemented projects
- Excellent communication and partnership skills with the ability to carry influence and drive action in a medium to large corporate environment.
- Possessing a data-driven approach to understanding client needs, you optimally translate strategic objectives into action, and efficiently prioritize to improve value delivered.
- Energized by working collectively to deliver agreed business outcomes, drawing on the expertise of colleagues to advise the approach and remove impediments to making progress.
- Facilitate meetings and conversations with business partners and vendors.

The Team
The External Entities team supports Fidelity affiliates technology needs by providing them end to end technology services. Additionally, the team manages collaboration platforms offered to the whole enterprise.
