The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ Years Related Technology Experience, financial industry experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience of full Software Development Life Cycle using Java/J2EE technologies, responsive and performant web applications using the Angular framework, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.
  • Proficient with designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Swagger, Docker, YAML, JSON.
  • Proficient with designing and developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web component using Angular framework and bootstrap.
  • Proficient in working with Oracle, creating & managing database objects like tables, views, indexes, Stored Procs and optimizing database performance through query tuning, indexing, analyzing performance reports.
  • Experience with Application development and integrating terraform with Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools – Jenkins for automated deployments.
  • Experience with source code and project administration tools such as GIT, JIRA.
  • Experience with AWS EKS, Lambda, S3 and overall AWS based application development / deployment.
  • Experience with designing, implementing and managing infrastructure using Terracore and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of batch job scheduling and dependency management using BMC Control-M for distributed systems.
  • Agile environment work experience. Collaborate with Agile team members to build comprehensive and cohesive solution approaches. Support project and release planning.
  • Proven ability to work in a high paced, dynamic, and culturally diverse environment.
  • An aptitude for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. Experience with building and maintaining unit tests and mock services using Jest, JUnit, Mockito unit testing framework.
  • Demonstrated expertise with critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to take up new challenges and explore new technology/tools.
  • Strong data driven problem-solving abilities. Collaborate with cross squads to define, design, and ship high-quality software solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to optimally convey technical concepts.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
