The FI Data Solutions team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Java Developer responsible for crafting, building, and maintaining the operational and analytical capability in FI.

Fidelity Institutional Technology (FI) is seeking an experienced Senior Angular Developer to join a squad, and work on emerging Managed & Advisory suite of applications. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and able to work in a very fast paced environment. Your role as a Software Engineer will be applying your strong software development skills within a team to produce high-quality, testable, and reliably deployed code for sophisticated products and components. We want you to be motivated by having the autonomy to build and craft extraordinary solutions among a robust engineering team that will support your growth and development.

The Skills that are Key to this role

  • 8+ years of Proven experience in developing Java-based applications
  • Hands-on experience with Java 17 or better
  • Hands-on experience in Spring and Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding in Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices.
  • Strong understanding with API orchestration and the ability to effectively pull together and manage multiple APIs simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery), Jenkins/Maven, Git, Terraform, Artifactory, and Jira (or equivalents)
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing completeness
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and personnel
  • Proven ability to work independently and professionally in high pressure/visibility situations within tight timeframes
  • Documentation of process and procedures as assigned

The hourly pay rate range for this position in New Jersey only is $60.00-102.35 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
