The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.

The Affiliate channel sits on the Demand Generation team, within USCM, as part of the paid Center of Excellence, which includes Paid Media and Paid Search, with a mission to drive intent & conversion of qualified applicants in the competitive digital landscape. Affiliate is a dynamic, complex, and nuanced channel that plays an important and strategic role across USCM as a top growth lever.

In this newly created role, the Senior Manager will play a critical role in the next phase of governance and operations for all of Affiliate Marketing – one of the largest channels in offsite digital.

As part of a new center of excellence focused on governance and operations for the Affiliate channel, the Senior Manager will have oversight across three key operational pillars – compliance, strategic planning, and enablement – to centralize, elevate and evolve processes to meet the needs of the evolving organization. This highly-visible role is a great opportunity for a candidate who wants to strengthen their leadership, partnership and analytical skillsets while gaining. It provides a chance to be at the forefront of digital innovation and growth, working cross-functionally and with key stakeholders across the Enterprise including Control Management, GCO/LOBCO, Investment Services, Marketing Enablement, Analytics & EDDS.

The ideal candidate will bring a highly analytical, creative and flexible growth mindset to the role, while being extremely organized, proactive and tenacious, and must have the demonstrated ability in influencing, collaboration, and strong leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise go-to-market strategy, creative strategy, marketing updates and enablement, driving efficiencies and continuous optimization
  • Manage compliance and legal channel strategy an evolving complex landscape, while educating internal stakeholders on channel operations
  • Oversee coordination of channel wide strategic planning including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, commentary and invoicing
  • Lead external agency relationship as well as act as key liaison with various internal collaborators including Analytics, Marketing Enablement, Operational Excellence, Legal and Compliance
  • Lead a team of 3 high performing direct reports

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with marketing and/or operations; 2+ years of people leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaborator with consistent record to mobilize, prioritize, influence and negotiate across internal & external partners
  • Critical thinker that is highly analytical and has strong attention to detail, with the ability understand and strategically distill data into digestible insights, recommendations and commentary
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly with leadership in a highly-visible environment
  • Strategic and creative problem solver with a passion for challenging the status quo with a positive “roll-up your sleeves” attitude
  • Works well under pressure, energetic, flexible, self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to balance multiple priorities with tight deadlines
  • Prior experience in control management or compliance strongly preferred

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
