Senior Manager, Agentic Commerce – Product Management
Job Description
The Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) Product team is at the heart of American Express and is a core function within the GMNS business unit. Each year, we power billions of transactions through our global payments network, serving Issuing & Acquiring partners in more than 170 markets worldwide. We grow revenue by driving strategic, multi-year initiatives to deliver differentiated value to our merchants, partners, and customers.
Our solutions deliver value to American Express’ Card Members, acquirers, and partners across the globe through both proprietary and third-party capabilities, facilitating secure and seamless transactions between issuers, acquirers, and merchants. Our goal is to enable Card Members to pay however and wherever they choose. We deliver on this by setting the vision and strategy for the Network, anchoring our priorities to enterprise objectives, and developing and managing a portfolio of products. We maintain a strong customer focus, consider competitive and regulatory dynamics, and apply an end-to-end product management approach across strategy, roadmaps, scaling plans, and performance metrics. We lead the end-to-end process, manage the partner lifecycle, and drive industry intelligence and engagement through key governing bodies.

As AI-driven agents, digital wallets, and automated commerce experiences evolve, we are shaping how the Network supports secure, scalable, and commercially compelling agent-based transactions. - Support integration efforts across dependent platforms and products, helping to identify gaps and drive resolution
- Own and manage delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies across assigned workstreams
- Contribute to documentation, including product specs, integration guides, and internal communications
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends, protocols, and competitive developments in agentic and digital commerce
