How will you make an impact in this role?

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for Small, Medium and Large businesses.

The objective of the GCS Control Management Business Conduct team is to provide subject matter expertise on Business conduct Risk topics to ensure the BU is equipped with in-depth knowledge of risk-stripes to manage and mitigate these risks effectively; supports the BU with expert guidance for topical Operational Risk intelligence.

GCS is looking for a Sr. Manager of Business Conduct to lead a diverse team of high-performing professionals focused on ensuring business conduct and control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

The Sr. Manager, GCS Business Conduct Control Management will:

  • Own the development, improvement, and approval for key GCS Business Conduct-related policies, ensuring alignment with AEMP 88 and other key enterprise policies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to GCS sales colleagues and leaders to provide guidance on how to compliantly operate within the guidelines of the GCS Sales Practices Policy ensuring we Win the Right Way
  • Work closely with Line of Business Compliance (LOBCO), GCO and other team members within the GCS organization to comply with internal standards, policies, and regulatory obligations.
  • Serve as a go-to subject matter experts within the BU on business conduct
  • Assist in ensuring all activities & guidance provided to BU are in alignment with standards set by centralized Business Conduct Risk teams
  • Facilitate activities to comply with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types (e.g., AEMP 88 conduct risk management policy), and support design/ enhancement of BU procedures /standards by providing topic-specific insight
  • Design and disseminate targeted training and awareness programs to increase understanding and management of Business Conduct Risk within GCS
  • Support sharing insights, better practices, themes, etc. across the enterprise
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
  • Excellent Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, JD, MSc) or certifications are advantageous
  • Experience in at least one of the following:
    • Supporting go-to subject matter experts in sharing subject matter expertise within the BU on decentralized risks
    • Facilitating activities to comply with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types and supporting with design/enhancement of procedures/standards by providing topic-specific insight
    • Advising on decentralized risk types into broader operational risk policies and programs
  • · Experience in financial services industry

Annual Range: $80,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
