The Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) team is at the heart of American Express. Each year, we power billions of transactions through our global payments network, serving our Issuing & Acquiring partners in more than 170 markets worldwide. We grow revenue by driving strategic, multi-year initiatives to deliver differentiated value to our merchants, partners and customers. The Network & Acquirer Capability and Data Team within NAS works to deliver digital products and services for merchants, network acquirers and issuers, and payment facilitators such as ATM/debit, point of sale authorizations & submissions, transaction pricing, disputes and settlement that meet the evolving demands of our global payment network. The wide range of solutions we develop enable the enterprise to attract new customers, operate in new markets, react to regulatory demands, and process new/emerging types of payments. A role on this team will challenge you to broaden your business solution design, agile product, data stewardship, quality assurance and operational readiness skills while incorporating an industry perspective in a collaborative, diverse and inclusive team environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Delivery & Integration Manager to join the Network & Acquirer Capabilities and Data team within NAS. This position will oversee the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional products, engaging with various technology and product teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering capabilities in alignment with the Network & Acquiring Product strategic roadmaps.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with Product Management, the Envisioning Team, Product Owners, Network & Acquiring capability owners, and other stakeholders to advance program outcomes that enhance delivery predictability and support best-in-class product delivery across the organization. What you’ll do:

·Drive the delivery of product roadmaps focused on deliverables and outcomes.

·Serve as the primary contact for teams and stakeholders from the start of an initiative through to delivery.

·Coordinate teams to plan and execute against product roadmaps, manage and escalate issues and risks as needed to support timely and effective delivery, and provide regular progress updates.

·Monitor value delivery and sequence initiatives to align with expectations.

·Contribute to the investment decision and capacity allocation processes by providing input on sequencing and highlighting other delivery considerations including dependencies.

·Work collaboratively to gain agreement from downstream stakeholders.

·Document and maintain plans through partnership with the product/business leadership and all key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes & experience:

  • 7+ years of Program Management experience developing and managing complex programs / projects / products.
  • Proven ability to influence and gain alignment at all levels of the organization including senior leadership.
  • Superb communication, facilitation and collaboration skills across band levels, locations, and time zones.
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear and specific objectives and plans.
  • Passion for sharing knowledge and understanding.
  • Experience managing the full product management lifecycle that requires a deep understanding of business domain and technical expertise in payments - a plus
  • Experience in Agile / SAFe principles and frameworks quality and testing best practices.

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits

Salary range

  • $123,000 - $215,250 per year
