Senior Manager, Digital Content Management

As a Senior Manager, Digital Content Manager, you are an expert individual contributor responsible for delivering high?quality, scalable digital content experiences and achieving business objectives without explicit instruction. You bring deep expertise across multiple CMS platforms and tools, managing, editing, personalizing, testing, and troubleshooting dynamic marketing content. You use CMS templates, HTML, CSS/JS, and hyper?personalization technologies (including business logic and agentic AI capabilities) to build and update content for Fidelity’s web and mobile experiences. You lead publishing execution for complex, cross?functional initiatives, coordinating work across creative, business, and technology partners to ensure timely, accurate delivery. You apply ingenuity, innovation, and technical analysis to solve complex implementation and integration challenges, make sound judgment calls, and recommend solutions to stakeholders. You contribute to the evolution of content management best practices and processes, support consistent execution across teams, and partner with CMS developers, IT, and business teams to optimize workflows. This internal customer?service?focused role requires strong active listening, empathy, problem?solving, and communication skills to effectively support partners and deliver reliable, high?impact digital experiences. Although “manager” is in the title of this role, you will not have any direct reports.

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience managing content through enterprise level web content management systems (CMS), testing, and personalization platforms

  • Demonstrated expertise leading the execution of complex, multi workstream content initiatives; experience supporting CMS migrations is a plus

  • Ability to facilitate cross functional planning sessions to align scope, timelines, and dependencies for publishing execution

  • Ownership of complex implementation approaches and technical decisions, including hands on execution and coordination with partners

  • A strategic mindset that enables you to lead content delivery execution for large projects while coordinating with developers, content creators, and other content managers

  • Ability to ideate and implement front end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) to enhance CMS enabled digital experiences

  • Skills to confidently present implementation approaches, risks, and recommendations to business and technology partners

  • Ability to optimize CMS workflows and processes to improve efficiency and usability for internal users

  • Experience providing informal guidance and knowledge sharing to peers through collaboration and project execution

  • Ability to create, follow, and reinforce publishing standards, workflows, and quality controls within defined scope

  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements that improve delivery speed, accuracy, and consistency

  • Working knowledge of taxonomy, naming conventions, and content structure conventions that support structured content and headless delivery

  • Ability to use metrics, dashboards, and operational data to assess performance and inform execution decisions

  • Ability to manage personal workload and coordinate dependencies to support team level delivery timelines

  • A strong aptitude for independently diagnosing and resolving complex technical and publishing issues

  • A collaborative mindset that supports learning, feedback, and shared problem solving across teams

  • Communication skills that enable you to explain complex concepts clearly to non technical (business) partners

  • Ability to remain effective, adaptable, and solution oriented in fast paced, ambiguous, and high change environments

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 – $80.00 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors

The Value You Deliver

  • Play an instrumental role in improving the effectiveness of Fidelity digital experiences to drive new customer acquisition and improve customer experiences

  • Help ensure Fidelity websites and applications deliver a consistent look, feel, and user experience across channels

  • Participate fully in the content delivery lifecycle, including creation, QA, updating, publishing, and ongoing management of web and mobile digital content

  • Leverage multiple CMS platforms, tools, and code to build and maintain high?quality, multichannel digital experiences

  • Provide guidance and knowledge?sharing to peers by applying CMS, tooling, and implementation expertise during project execution

  • Independently manage multiple complex work products from inception to completion, coordinating with developers and third?party systems as needed

  • Collaborate with technology and creative teams to onboard, test, and implement new functionality that enhances digital experiences

  • Support the onboarding and implementation of new technologies, including platforms and data integrations, often in ambiguous or lightly documented environments

  • Proactively audit, diagnose, and resolve content and personalization issues in CMS and production environments through creative troubleshooting

  • Advance and manage priority initiatives, acting as a key liaison between creative, technical, and business partners

  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of processes that streamline content workflow, tracking, and management

  • Adhere to and reinforce standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, retrieval, and repurposing

  • Support SEO, accessibility, measurement, and QA efforts to ensure accurate, high?quality, and compliant digital experiences

  • Translate stakeholder requests into actionable, detailed implementation and publishing specifications

  • Identify root causes of technical or content issues and contribute to scalable improvements to prevent recurrence

  • Advocate for internal and external customer needs by ensuring content accuracy, usability, and overall experience quality

  • Foster open, effective communication with business partners to support alignment and successful delivery
