How will you make an impact in this role?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our MarTech Transformation team and lead product strategy and development efforts for our product roadmap that is aimed at developing new marketing technology solutions to elevate the manner in which we design, build, review and deploy customer-facing creatives that support our marketing experiences. Underpinning this strategy are a variety of current and planned product solutions including centralized content libraries (digital asset and copy managers), asset builder solutions, collaborative review and refinement and annotation tools, creative review and approval solutions, channel set up capabilities and workflow/work management platforms.

This role will specifically focus on the strategy and deployment of our content services solution which includes the digital asset and marketing copy content libraries. As part of this effort, this individual will need to partner across multiple organizations including Marketing, Enterprise Marketing Products, Content Management, Creative Compliance Review, Global Advertising and Brand Management and others to understand and define business needs for this new solution. This candidate will also work with our American Express Technology and AI Labs organization to solution, build, test and deploy product features to the organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain a short/medium/long term product strategy that aligns to the needs of the business and sets the vision for our content ecosystem
  • Build highly impactful visual aids to support solution design discussions with our engineering organization and facilitate alignment conversations across relevant stakeholder groups
  • Lead the business planning, prioritization and technology assessment processes across our solution development lifecycle
  • Oversee product owner functions across our Agile development processes, partnering closely with the engineering scrum teams to ensure product features are clearly defined, have clear acceptance criteria and are properly tested and validated before launch
  • People leadership for a product analyst

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience in a product management / product owner function
  • Experience working within Agile software development methodologies and supporting tools and frameworks (JIRA, Rally, Lean Portfolio Management)
  • Highly skilled communicator – ability to very clearly define, articulate and present a product strategy, as well as define detailed technical requirements for capabilities, features and user stories
  • Experience in building out highly complex and integrated product technology stacks
  • Comfort in leading and influencing discussions across various levels of the organization
  • Expert project manager – highly organized with the ability to successfully manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Ability to quickly pivot and reprioritize as business strategies demand
  • Passion for marketing technologies and the evolving external technology landscape
  • Prior experience working with Adobe a plus

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
