As our Senior Manager of Facility Security, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing day-to-day security operations across all facilities. Your leadership will ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and physical assets through the implementation and maintenance of effective security practices, protocols, and systems.

DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Directly manage the Facility Security Manager and team of Facility Security Agents, ensuring 24/7 security coverage and support for all company facilities, responding to operational needs and staffing issues as required.
  • Foster a positive team culture and lead with a high level of integrity.
  • Develop and lead training programs, standard operating procedures, and performance evaluations for Rose Quarter Facility Security Staff.
  • Develop and facilitate safety and security trainings including safety awareness events for all Rose Quarter staff and emergency response training sessions for arena personnel.
  • Foster a culture of customer service within the security team.
  • Serve as the primary point for security incidents, emergencies, and operational incidents.
  • Develop and implement proactive security measures to mitigate risks and align with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure security operations comply with local laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports related to incidents, inspections, and training.
  • Prepare and submit reports on security incidents, investigations, and ongoing security improvements.
  • Conduct investigations on security threats, report findings and implement corrective action.
  • Ensure all security personnel are certified and up to date with the required security-related training.
  • Maintain DPSST trainer certification and perform trainings for staff.
  • Seek and deploy state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to safeguard the organization's assets and property. Establish appropriate standards and associated risk controls.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in security operations, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of security practices, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.
  • Experience developing and implementing security training programs and standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations and produce detailed incident and compliance reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff, leadership, law enforcement, and emergency services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Familiarity with state and federal laws relevant to physical security, including OSHA and ADA compliance.
  • Valid DPSST certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) and DPSST trainer certification.
  • Proficiency in security technology systems such as CCTV, access control, and incident management platforms.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and during emergencies as needed.

WE’D BE THRILLED IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Emergency Management, Security Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a sports, entertainment, or large event venue environment.
  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or similar.
  • Track record of implementing innovative, technology-driven security solutions.
  • Knowledge of crowd control and incident response planning for large public gatherings.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships with local law enforcement and emergency responders.
