Job Description:

The Role

This position is a meaningful role in WI Sales Optimization Acceleration & Retention (SOAR) who both leads a team of Proposal Consultants (PC) while also helping to triage and evaluate incoming work for the Proposal team. This leader works with Sales Managers, Product and Service Consultants, and business partners to support the Workplace Investing sales goals and commitments.

Support sales activity in pursuit of attaining new clients or retaining existing clients in Workplace Investing. Guide our team in the delivery of high-quality sales support in the pursuit of new clients. Lead the day-to-day leadership of work assignment and serve as a point of escalation with sales team and other business partners. Contribute to group initiatives to drive innovation through process re-engineering and automation. Gain feedback from internal and external clients and ensure it is infused into how we work.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Proven experience in the retirement industry.

  • Experience in Workplace Investing with a solid understanding of operations and service delivery model

  • Series 7, 24 required (can be acquired in the role)

  • Extensive retirement plan experience with a solid understanding of Fidelity’s products and services, management processes and overall Fidelity network.

  • Proven capability to deliver to tight timeframes and be successful in fast paced environments.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Creative, flexible, and out-of-the-box thinking

  • Ability to maintain relationships and positioning in order to effectively mentor team related to critical issues and general positioning.

The Value You Deliver

  • Handling day to day assignment of activities for associates – including deal assignments and balancing requests to support WI Sales goals.

  • Effective coaching of team including performance management deliverables of quarterly quick connects and assessments.

  • Working with peers and business partners to maximize resources and meet the demands for end-to-end sales process.

  • Partnering with Management Team to drive initiatives to improve scale, increase efficiency and decrease coast where possible.

  • Assisting team in handling RFP responses and overall deal quality through entire sales cycle.

  • Carrying out new hire training programs

The Team

Sales Optimization Acceleration & Retention plays a key role in the Workplace Investing Sales process. We help ensure that Fidelity demonstrates our customer focus, deep industry expertise, outstanding participant and plan sponsor experiences and innovative technology throughout the sales process to win new clients, which will ensure we deliver on the annual WI sales goals.
