Job Description

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses of all sizes. The U.S. Small Business and Middle Market (SME) segment represents the largest GCS customer base and continues to be a key driver of growth and strategic investment.

The Tele Sales Marketing & Enablement team, part of the Middle Market Prospect organization, is responsible for delivering best-in-class B2B marketing strategies that enable Sales colleagues to effectively acquire and convert high-value SME prospects. The team supports the Small Business Sales (SBS) Tele Sales organization through acquisition marketing strategy, offer optimization, sales enablement, customer journey improvements, and performance-driven go-to-market execution.

The Sr. Manager, U.S. SME Acquisition Marketing & Sales Enablement will play a critical role in shaping and executing acquisition marketing strategies that drive prospect acquisition and conversion for the SBS Tele Sales channel. This role owns acquisition strategy, sales enablement, and customer insight.

The individual will leverage customer interaction trends, call transcript learnings, and sales performance insights to continuously optimize Marketing-owned levers that improve seller effectiveness and acquisition performance. This includes ownership of offer positioning, value-story development, outreach messaging, lead warming engagement strategies, and sales enablement content.

This role will partner closely with analytics and operational teams to translate customer insights into scalable marketing and enablement strategies that improve business performance.

Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to influence stakeholders and lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize small business card offer strategy to improve channel ROI, lead conversion, and customer engagement.

  • Own channel forecasting and performance management, including annual planning, monthly results & outlook processes

  • Lead acquisition marketing strategy and channel management for the SBS Tele Sales team

  • Partner with Sales leaders & Customer Facing Colleagues (CFCs) to develop compelling value story assets and talk tracks that enable Sales to effectively communicate product benefits and drive acquisition performance.

  • Explore AI tools to uncover actionable customer interaction insights, call transcript learnings, and sales performance trends to improve Marketing-owned acquisition strategies including offer positioning, outreach messaging and sales enablement content.

  • Lead a structured test-and-learn agenda across offers, messaging strategies and sales engagement tactics to continuously optimize performance and improve ROI.

  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to Product teams to support go-to-market execution for small business product launches, refreshes, and campaigns—ensuring Sales colleagues have timely, compelling, relevant, and compliant marketing assets and enablement materials.

  • Identify and drive improvements to the end-to-end US SME Small Business card application experience and disclosure accuracy

  • Partner closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Governance teams to ensure customer-facing messaging, enablement content, and sales narratives remain compliant and aligned to approved disclosure frameworks.

  • Deliver engaging presentations to large audiences (100+ colleagues), translating complex strategies, performance trends, and customer insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Manage and develop one full-time Analyst.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of marketing, sales enablement, acquisition strategy, or related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through data-driven analysis, performance optimization, and strategic problem solving

  • Experience leveraging customer insights, transcript learnings, or sales performance trends to improve marketing effectiveness, sales enablement, or customer engagement preferred

  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen with proven ability to identify opportunities to improve acquisition performance and customer experience

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a highly matrixed environment

  • Experience developing sales enablement content, outreach strategies, or customer engagement programs informed by customer behavior insights preferred

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively distill complex material and convey the “so what” in a clear, compelling, and concise manner

  • Extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • People leadership experience a plus

  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, M365 Copilot, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) to drive Marketing impact, a plus
