Senior Manager, Workplace Investing (WI) Communications

The Role

As a Senior Communications Manager, you will be a member of the Workplace Investing (WI) Communications team, reporting to the VP of WI of Communications. As a trusted consultant to senior leaders, you will develop and execute communication programs that support WI business objectives. You’ll work to amplify the WI Multi-Year Plan across audiences, ensure alignment with Fidelity’s enterprise priorities, and collaborate with colleagues from the WI Communications team and across Corporate Affairs to drive impact.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience
  • Financial services/benefits knowledge preferred

The Skills You Bring

  • Helping execute communications plans that articulate business priorities, strategies, and impact, in close partnership with team members and key internal stakeholders
  • Working across Corporate Affairs and with business partners (e.g., HR, Strategy & Finance, Product & Marketing, Meetings & Events, External Communications, Government Relations & Public Policy, etc.) to source content, as well as align communications and messaging with other business units and enterprise-focused teams
  • Creating, proof-reading, formatting, and managing distribution of business unit and senior leader communications – including collateral for events, blogs, and social media posts – for a variety of internal and external communication channels
  • Managing multiple and simultaneous projects, ensuring that all efforts meet Fidelity’s high standards in the areas of accuracy, ethics, legal, and compliance
  • Constantly exploring new, creative, and engaging ways to engage employees with key messages across a variety of communications channels
  • Partnering with in-house creative solutions team or outside vendors on video and design for communications programs
  • Measuring the effectiveness of communications programs to include creation and assembly of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc communications reports for senior management

The Team

The WI Communications team is part of the Fidelity Leadership Communications organization within Corporate Affairs. Working closely with the most senior leaders within WI, we develop communications programs that resonate with associates – whether they are part of the various WI domains or enable the business through technology and operational resilience. As part of the larger Corporate Affairs team, we are able to connect our work to larger enterprise efforts that reach a range of internal and external audiences.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
