Senior QA Engineer
Job Description
We build enterprise digital tools for millions of customers to solve high value problems and enable the best customer experience. We are building a digital signing platform for Fidelity to reduce reliance on outside vendors and increase the flexibility and experience for our customers. The core capabilities have been built, and we are now adding exciting new features to take this platform to the next level.

The Expertise We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology preferred
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or C#)
The Skills You Bring
- Strong expertise in API testing and automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar
- In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with Java development
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and JSON/XML
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with defect management and test data management
- Ability to write complex SQL queries
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with Jira and test management tools like Xray or Zephyr
The Value You Deliver
- Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks and test scripts through the Karate framework
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for APIs and backend services
- Manage defects and test data effectively across environments
- Write and implement complex SQL queries for data validation using PostgreSQL
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous testing
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights
- Document and track test cases using Jira and test management tools like X-Ray or Zephyr.
- Give to development efforts as needed
Bonus Points
- Proficiency in Java development
- Experience with performance testing for APIs
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
