Senior Residency Program CoordinatorUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Senior Residency Program Coordinator provides advanced administrative and operational support for Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs. This position partners closely with program leadership and institutional GME leadership to ensure compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), institutional, and program requirements.The Senior Residency Program Coordinator reports to the Administrative Program Director.This position works out of the UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine Office that is located at the Brooks City Base location in South San Antonio.Essential FunctionsJob DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.• Strong understanding of ACGME accreditation requirements and GME operations.• Experience using residency management software such as MedHub or New Innovations.• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to independently prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple deadlines.• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, residents, institutional leadership, and external partners.• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.• Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.Required EducationBachelor's Degree.Required Work ExperienceTwo (2) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in Graduate Medical Education, academic medicine, or a healthcare education environment.Preferred Qualifications• Minimum of two (2) years of direct GME experience.• Experience with ACGME accreditation processes and residency management systems.• Knowledge of CMS funding rules and regulations.• Experience supporting institutional committees and accreditation activities.• Experience mentoring or training administrative staff.• TAGME certification or eligibility preferred.Required Certifications, Licenses or RegistrationsMust have a valid driver's license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.Work HoursTypical Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends as needed to support recruitment, orientation, graduation, accreditation activities, and institutional events.Physical Demands• Ability to lift up to 15lbs for table set-up/tear-down at events, as well as lift office supplies.• Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat to retrieve office/event materials.• Ability to push/pull event carts holding up to 50 lbs.• Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time.• Ability to regularly move about campus and event venues to actively engage faculty, staff, and potential/current residents, as well as attend meetings on and off campus.Posting Number: AS2268POJob Type: Full TimeJob Category: Administrator (exempt)Desired Start Date: 07/16/2026Position End Date (if temporary):Reports To: Administrative Program DirectorSalary: $55,000-60,000 AnnualizedOpen Date: 06/15/2026Close Date:Open Until Filled: YesSpecial Instructions to ApplicantThis position works out of the UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine Office that is located at the Brooks City Base location in South San Antonio.To apply, visit https://apptrkr.com/7240623UIW is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in employment, without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, citizenship status, national origin, age, marital status, disability, genetic information, gender identity or expression, veteran status, pregnancy, and religion (except in limited circumstances when religious preference is both permitted by law and deemed appropriate as a matter of University policy).jeid-a2150c1fae2b524eabceffe5bcd69245
