
Senior Security Representative
Job Description:
The Senior Security Representative is a Brand Ambassador for Global Security Operations who provides outstanding customer service during their assigned duties as part of a larger team of security professionals. The incumbent will actively patrol and respond to security incidents while protecting Fidelity’s associates, customers, and property. Is considered a crucial employee who provides 1st responder services in emergency situations and may be required to work rotating shifts including some nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
The Expertise We are Looking For / The Expertise You Have:
Bachelor’s degree; equivalent life/work experience
3 + years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military
Ability to perform under stressful conditions
EMT / prior medical 1st Responder training strongly preferred
Maintain a valid U.S. passport and driver’s license

Responsibilities/The Value You Deliver:
Conducting focused patrols on foot or by vehicle within assigned area(s) of responsibility
Performs routine inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure working order of security equipment and safety of workspaces
Utilizing electronic and mechanical devices to monitor, record, and report abnormal conditions; may assist with initial investigative steps and analysis of data to identify trends
Interacting with associates, visitors, vendors, and customers in a professional manner while enforcing company rules, standards, and policies
Rendering 1st responder services during emergencies in a calm, deliberate manner within the scope of your training – routinely acts as primary decision maker / incident commander
Produce accurate reports and records of activity and incidents; may review and provide feedback on written reports, checklists, etc. prepared by junior team members for completeness and accuracy
Serves as field trainer/mentor for new associates
May be assigned specialized program work in addition to regular duties
May be assigned to provide specialized security services to Fidelity sponsored events, executives, clients and other high-profile individuals.
Use life safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, first aid supplies, and radios as needed
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
