Job Description:
The Team
You will be responsible for production supporting and maintaining high-quality, full stack application components in support of various products in the Employer Journey product line. You will triage issues in an Agile environment. In addition to day-to-day technical support responsibilities.
The Expertise You Have
BS or above in Computer Science or related field
5+ years web/application development experience with strong proven understanding of Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, Node JS
Knowledge of supporting server-side components using REST API and backend SQL /Stored Procedure Components
Experience supporting and maintaining applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, DcodeX and uDeploy are a plus.
Experience with cloud technologies Azure/AWS
Support experience with Event Driven applications using Kafka.
Supporting 12-factor, containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) API’s to AWS/Azure
Experience with Oracle and distributed warehouses
Experience with financial platforms are good to have.
Exposure to COBOL, JCL, DB2/SQL, CICS, VSAM
The Skills You Bring
Experience doing a deep dive across a technology stack to determine root cause of issues/errors and then able to do either a short term resolution and then longer term strategic resolution for those issues.
Data Analysis skills will be plus. Not only the ability to evaluate request/response but also the stored procedures and data discrepancies in the database.
Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker)
Strong analytical skills and ability to tackle issues and work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience and judgment
Proactively navigates the organization in order to accomplish tasks
Willingness to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Desire to be organized, highly responsive and committed to quality
