As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale web applications supporting Fidelity Go and PPA-W managed accounts. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles. The Expertise You Have:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale web and back-office applications.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing web services (REST) using Java frameworks such as Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency with AWS services for deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
- Exposure to Python for scripting and automation tasks is preferred.
- Familiarity with database frameworks like DynamoDB, Oracle, MSDB.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins.
- Problem-solving abilities and application of software engineering best practices (e.g., design patterns, process improvements, test frameworks, CI systems).
The Team
We Deliver, enhance and support a suite of digital-scale capabilities (and associated operational processes) for the Fidelity Go (retail) and PPA-W (workplace) managed accounts businesses that gives Strategic Advisors (or other advisory firms) the information they need to create and manage individually personalized portfolios according to the relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
