The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a SaaS/cloud-first, innovative, fast-paced technology team within Fidelity Institutional Technology supporting ICG Institutional Distribution. This team is responsible for all data movements to/from our CRM Salesforce platform, Oracle, Snowflake, and third-party vendor systems to deliver advanced data and analytics capabilities that delight our customers and help drive revenue growth. You will work closely with the Data Architects, Tech lead & other squad members and will be responsible for designing and developing highly performant APIs and building robust scalable batch solutions using AWS/Spring etc.

The Expertise You Have

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems, or related field

• 6+ years of professional software development experience

• Experience working towards delivery of application solutions operating as part of a larger ecosystem

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• You have standout interpersonal skills

• You have worked in an Agile environment

The Skills You Bring

• Experience in Spring Frameworks specifically Spring security, Spring Batch and Spring boot

• Experience in Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

• Experience in design and development of REST API and Implementing Microservices

• Experience with Automation Tools/Frameworks (Junit, Cucumber/JBehave etc.)

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD using tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, Cloud Formation etc.

• Experience with SQL programming; building queries and stored procedures/functions

• Experience with UI technologies (Angular, JavaScript or other UI framework) is a plus

• Knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake and Python scripting is a plus

• Financial services industry experience is a plus

The team is tremendously hardworking with a passion for technology tempered by a level-headed approach on delivering value to move the business forward.

Please see the below pay rate range for this position is: $62.68-93.75 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
