The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years hands-on experience as a software engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

  • Proficient in Java, React, Spring, SpringBoot, RESTful services and experience in developing APIs and micro-services

  • Applied Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and utilized testing tools including JUnit, Bruno, and Postman to ensure code quality and reliability

  • Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Datadog

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and utilizing Jenkins or similar

  • Experienced with Docker/Kubernetes and container-based deployment practices will be a plus

  • Ability to trouble-shoot complex data issues across the e2e technology stack

  • Expertise with software design, development, test and operational automation

  • Hands-on Azure / AWS experience or desire to build cloud experience (e.g. certifications, training)

  • Working with Event Driven Architecture -- Kafka, Webhooks a plus

  • Ability to work independently and professionally in high pressure/visibility situations within tight timeframes
