Job Description:
The Expertise We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in software quality engineering
Experience creating test automation solutions in tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Fitnesse, Selenium, TestNG, SoapUI
Experience with continuous integration practices and automated deployment tools
Proficient in Java or equivalent software languages
Good level of SQL and database knowledge
Familiar with some of the following: Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful services
Familiar with AWS or equivalent cloud-based services
Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
The Purpose of Your Role
As part of a scrum team made up of other software engineers and systems analysts, you will contribute to the QA automation strategy for our applications, to enable rapid delivery of key customer features
Work collaboratively with engineering and business colleagues to help define acceptance criteria and derive release testing requirements
Design, implement and execute functional and regression test cases/suites
Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes
Analyse and report test results, project tracking and product release readiness
Develop minor application features in Java and/or Angular
