The Role
Fidelity Institutional Intermediary Servicing OSG Technology team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test. The ideal candidate is passionate about groundbreaking technologies with a proven background in software development, software quality engineering, Agile/Scrum, test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing. This associate will act as a team test automation lead, ensuring high application quality through the development and execution of automated functional and regression suite.
The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in a QA or Developer role
Deep understanding of manual and automated testing concepts, including behavior driven development (BDD)
Strong Object-Oriented Programming Skills
Experience with Java/JEE and Java Script
Experience with Selenium using Java or Java Script, and Cucumber BDD framework
Service testing experience preferably with Karate and/or RESTAssured frameworks, experience with SOATest or SoapUI acceptable
Experience with Oracle SQL
Experience using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins Build Server, Maven, Git/Stash, etc.
Experience with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Stash, Confluence, etc) preferred
Experience with UI testing frameworks (i.e. Galen, PhantomCSS, etc) a plus
Experience with service virtualization tools such as wiremock, parasoft virtualize, etc is a plus.
Knowledge on Content Management System platform (CMS) such as Sitecore, Documentum, etc is a plus.
You have proven leadership and strong technical skills, with a track record for designing and building Test Automation framework.
You enjoy creating strategies and roadmap for Test Automation framework by looking at industry trends, presenting that to management and working with a group of engineers to implement them.
You have great communication skills, enjoy working with a dynamic and senior team, and have a curiosity about learning new technologies.
You can understand, document, and develop technical designs for test automation at the application level, and closely partner with the analyst and developers.
You can break down different business problems/requirements and recommend solutions to project leaders and our business partners.
You work great in a team and as an individual contributor
Provide automation solutions for large scale projects from an end to end perspective including front end, middle tier services and back end data providers.
Help lead FI OSG Technology automation initiatives
Participate in scrum activities such as test coverage reviews, story grooming sessions, and sprint planning
Develop and execute automated and manual test scripts for functional and regression testing
Document, maintain, and monitor software problems

The Fidelity Institutional Intermediary Servicing OSG Technology team in Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology supports our primary web presence, accounts.fidelity.com, as well as other applications and tools that provide capabilities supporting our clients. This position will play a key role in delivering new and enhancing existing digital capabilities to provide the best customer experience.
This role will act as a team test automation lead, ensuring high application quality through the development and execution of automated functional and regression suite.
