Role Summary
The Senior Systems Analyst – IAM plays a key role in delivering Identity & Access Management solutions, supporting enterprise access governance initiatives with a strong emphasis on SailPoint. This role requires both deep analytical expertise and strong project coordination skills to lead application onboarding efforts, manage complex deliverables, and collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure secure, compliant access controls.

Enterprise Cybersecurity is responsible for protecting Fidelity from external and internal threats to our infrastructure, data, and systems. Within this organization, the team supports critical Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives that enable secure, compliant access across the enterprise.
This team blends IAM analysis and delivery, supporting high impact security programs—including SailPoint application onboarding and access governance initiatives. Team members work in close partnership with squad leads, engineers, architects, application owners, and security stakeholders to perform data and systems analysis, lead onboarding efforts, and deliver scalable IAM solutions that support both business and regulatory needs.
You will play a key role in enabling consistent, efficient onboarding of applications into IAM tooling, helping to strengthen identity lifecycle management and access controls across Fidelity.

This role requires both deep analytical expertise and strong project coordination skills to lead application onboarding efforts, manage complex deliverables, and collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure secure, compliant access controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior analyst for IAM initiatives, providing functional and technical expertise for SailPoint implementations and enhancements.
- Lead end to end IAM workstreams, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment activities.
- Apply project management skills to plan, track, and deliver IAM initiatives, ensuring timelines, scope, and dependencies are well managed.
- Coordinate onboarding activities across multiple application teams, acting as the primary point of contact for IAM related requirements.
- Translate business needs and regulatory requirements into SailPoint configurations and workflows.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership.
- Partner closely with security, infrastructure, development, and audit teams to ensure IAM controls align with enterprise standards.
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting of identity and access issues, escalating and resolving complex defects as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including onboarding artifacts, process flows, and operating procedures.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of IAM processes and delivery models.
- Participate in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) ceremonies as needed to support IAM delivery and intake.
- 7–10 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or related role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting IAM solutions in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, including identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, certifications, and least privilege.
- Proven project coordination or project management experience delivering complex initiatives across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Hands on experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow).
- Direct experience leading or supporting SailPoint application onboarding, including: Requirements discovery and data analysis Entitlement mapping and role modeling Connector setup and testing Coordination with application owners and SMEs
- Experience managing multiple onboarding efforts simultaneously with competing priorities.
- SailPoint certification(s) or formal IAM training.
- Familiarity with cloud and directory integrations (e.g., Azure AD, AD, LDAP).
