The Team

The Prime Brokerage Team, within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT), is seeking a Support Analyst to join the team to help build and maintain high quality product and solutions to enable custody business. We are looking for a person who has hands-on software engineering experience building cloud-based systems using modern, scalable, resilient, Cloud native architectures (Containers and Serverless). This role will involve partner & stakeholder engagement, design, release support and production support. In this role, you will be an integral part of the prime brokerage team where you’ll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a fun, collaborative, iterative, and rapidly changing environment.

The Expertise You Have

  • Experience working directly with product & technology teams.

  • Experience leading scrum teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

  • Experience in Database development.

  • Experience in prime brokerage, securities lending as SME.

  • Experience in Application Support - which includes day to day support of the application, daily system health checks , client onboarding , handling client questions / requests and maintain application stability.

  • Experience in coordination with infrastructure teams and leading hardware migrations, patches, upgrades.

  • Experience in looking into areas for automating any manual work and implementing those ideas.

  • Experience in coordinating with different teams and ensuring a smooth and effective release process.

  • Experience with deep ETL and onboarding templates.

  • You are proficient with Database design and development.

  • You are proficient with unix shell and Python scripting.

  • You are proficient with AWS tools.

  • You are proficient with client onboarding and handling client questions / requests.

  • You are proficient with Application Support.

  • You have the skills to take initiative and the self-motivation to drive results.

  • You have the managerial skills to lead the team onsite and offshore and distribute work efficiently.

  • You possess phenomenal communication skills -- both verbal and written – and strong relationship, organizational and collaborative skills.

  • Willingness and ability to learn and tackle challenging opportunities and to work as a member of a diverse and geographically distributed team.

  • You have expert level knowledge of software development processes, and you practice Agile.

  • You have experience and knowledge of orchestrating with the development in choosing the right technology solution.

  • You have experience in leading hardware migrations, patches, upgrades.

  • You have experience in coordinating with different teams and ensuring a smooth and effective release process.

  • Have the ability to come up with ideas to automate any manual work and get those ideas implemented.

  • You are an experienced user of one or more Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Jira).

  • You are experienced with DevOps, and test automation.

  • You are experienced with CI/CD, built CI/CD tools and pipelines including but not limited to Jenkins, uDeploy.

  • You are experienced with Cyber Security guidelines and building secure code integrating with static/dynamic scan

  • You have experience integrating with 3rd party vendors leveraging API and external teams when building / maintaining applications.

The base salary range for this position is $76,000-$144,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
