Senior Systems Services and Support Analyst

The Role

The Senior Systems Services and Support Analyst is part of the Mainframe Security team, a group responsible for safeguarding Fidelity’s core transaction-processing platforms. These systems support essential business processes across the enterprise, so maintaining their security, stability, and performance is critical to our ability to serve customers and business partners.

This role directly supports the day-to-day and long-term security needs of the mainframe environment, ensuring that identity controls, system configurations, access provisioning, and monitoring functions remain accurate, compliant, and highly reliable.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years of Top Secret Administration experience

  • College Degree in Computer Science or another IT related field Preferred

  • Coding/Scripting experience with JCL, Python, REXX, Unix Shell, SQL, and PHP

  • Knowledge of Information Security Principles Preferred

  • Experience in DevOps

  • Knowledge of z/OS including security management with CA Top Secret

  • Familiarity with CA Compliance Manager, CA Cleanup and CA Compliance Information Analysis products

  • Self-starter with ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Experience with IT troubleshooting skills

  • Understand ITSM processes.

  • In-depth understanding of mainframe system and the inter working components.

  • Experience with cross platform technical skills (MVS, Cloud)

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work with development teams and individual users.

  • Working as part of a rotational, on-call 24x7 team

  • Forward thinking, continuous improvement mindset

  • Provide reporting and data analysis to support the enterprise ITSM function.

  • Develop and implement dashboards and data solutions to provide information across enterprise.

  • Develop processes and standards and maintain KPI and process alignment.

  • Define and continuously improve the audit process; monitor and review the execution of periodic audits.

  • Train junior level staffing
