The Role

Do you want to join a team focused on Fidelity’s Emerging Technology, Start Ups and Incubator programs and initiatives? Are you interested in supporting the non-financial companies Fidelity Investments owns? The Technology Risk team for Enterprise Services (ES) within Enterprise Technology Risk & Analytics (ETRA) is seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced professional to join the team! This is an opportunity to be involved in the newest and most innovative areas of the firm, specifically Fidelity Labs and the DI Companies. You will help enhance and manage the core technology risk program activities, including refining and executing the technology risk strategy and program, and working with Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk and Compliance teams to holistically manage technology risk of Enterprise Services and its varied initiatives across the Firm.

The Purpose of Your Role

You will act as a subject matter expert in technology risk, supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of controls for emerging technologies and innovative business models. You will work closely with technology and business teams to assess risk, recommend controls, and support compliance efforts across Enterprise Services.

The Value You Deliver

  • Supporting the development and execution of technology risk strategies for emerging technology initiatives

  • Conducting risk assessments and control evaluations for start-ups and incubator programs

  • Identifying gaps in controls and recommending mitigation strategies

  • Assisting in the development of KPIs/KRIs for risk monitoring

  • Reviewing third-party vendor contracts for control adequacy

  • Supporting audit readiness and responding to internal/external audit inquiries

  • Promoting awareness and training on technology risk and controls across DI Associates

The Team

Reporting to the Technology Risk Director, you will collaborate with other ETRA teams, Centers of Excellence, and stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Compliance. You will also engage with external auditors and regulators to support risk assurance and oversight.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-153,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
