
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Responsibilities
Salary Range: Pay commensurate with experience. Eligible for annual bonuses
Shift: Shipping & Receiving Clerk ' 1st Shift (Monday-Friday: 7am-3:30pm)
Position Overview:
As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll be part of our team in our Berea, Ohio plant.
Key Responsibilities:
' Prepare documents such as bills of lading
' Correspond with order management as well as factory representatives to rectify problems so that customer needs dates can be met
' Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport
' Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
' Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise: Make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-ups
' Assign, tag, and store received inventory to proper location
' Receive parts to stock that have come in from external suppliers
' Ensure products are properly packed and labeled
Maintain safe and clean working area
Qualifications
BasicQualifications
' 6 months or more of Shipping andReceiving experience
' High School diploma or equivalent
' Detail and data orientation
' Effective process evaluation andproblem-solving skills
' Ability to multitask in a rapidlychanging environment
' Ability to maintain positive workingrelationships with internal customers
' Ability to accurately count andidentify parts and verify with paperwork
' Ability to work well in a team settingand under immediate supervision
