About the Role
We’re seeking highly organized Operations Event Staff to support the successful execution of the 2026 NASCAR San Diego Street Race. This seasonal position runs June 15 – June 21, 2026 onsite at Naval Base Coronado. This role will assist the Operations team with guest logistics and site access, helping ensure event logistics are run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport guests, staff, VIPs, and team personnel throughout NASCAR event grounds using golf carts and shuttle vehicles.
- Maintain safe driving practices in high-traffic pedestrian areas and follow all NASCAR venue safety procedures.
- Remain calm and solutions-oriented in high pressure, live event environments.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be local to San Diego
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high stress environment
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods
- Strong experience in event operations, logistics, or large-scale project coordination
- Adhere to company vehicle policy and pass a motor vehicle record check
- Prior experience with military, government, or large event venues preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from the track location
