Simulation (Technical) Operations ManagerUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Simulation Operations Manager provides technical support for all CRNA simulation operations to ensure best practices in healthcare simulation are used to augment student learning. This position provides essential technical and audiovisual support for the SNHP skills and simulation laboratories. Priority focus will be support of the CRNA program's skills and simulation curriculum with secondary focus on all other SNHP programs. The Simulation Operations Manager reports to the SNHP Simulation Director.Essential FunctionsJob DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of students, faculty, clinical instructors, staff, and community members.• Must be detail-oriented, think critically, identify problems, troubleshoot, and act to resolve issues in a timely manner.• Strong knowledge of healthcare simulation equipment including high-fidelity simulators and debriefing systems.• Experience with setup, breakdown, and moulage of healthcare simulation-based activities.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Teams.• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.• Able to work effectively in an interprofessional team environment with internal and external stakeholders.• Strong knowledge of simulated operating room and medical/surgical environments.• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.• Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.Required EducationBachelor's Degree in Healthcare or education field.Required Work Experience• Three (3) years of experience in healthcare simulation technical operations to include troubleshooting and repairing hardware, software, and simulation equipment, as well as experience working with simulated participants.• Two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in relevant field(s).• One (1) year of relevant lead or supervisory responsibilities in this field.• One (1) year of documented mentorship experiences either in academic setting or clinical setting.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification.Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations• Valid unexpired Basic Life Support certification or ability and willingness to secure prior to assignment start date.• Current Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) or commitment to obtain CHSOS within two (2) years of assignment start date.Work HoursMonday through Friday 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental and learning community goals.Some weekends may be required.Physical Demands• Ability to lift up to 25lbs for table/chair set-up/tear-down at events and moving testing/event materials.• Ability to reach overhead, bend, and squat to retrieve testing/event materials.• Ability to push/pull event carts holding up to 50lbs.• Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods of time.• Ability to regularly move about campus and event venues to actively engage faculty, staff, and students, as well as attend meetings on and off campus.Posting Number: AS2259POJob Type: Full TimeJob Category: Administrator (exempt)Desired Start Date: 07/16/2026Position End Date (if temporary):Reports To: CRNA DirectorSalary: $79,000-$83,000 AnnualizedOpen Date: 06/05/2026Close Date:Open Until Filled: YesSpecial Instructions to ApplicantN/A.To apply, visit https://apptrkr.com/7216072UIW is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in employment, without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, citizenship status, national origin, age, marital status, disability, genetic information, gender identity or expression, veteran status, pregnancy, and religion (except in limited circumstances when religious preference is both permitted by law and deemed appropriate as a matter of University policy).jeid-5a090fc59a5492449b1c98e13ff75152
