The Role

Looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with curiosity, analytical skills, and dedication to problem-solving. The Support Engineering organization is responsible for ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems through on-call support, incident communication, root cause analysis, and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. It also involves maintaining operational documentation, supporting audits and recurring maintenance.

A person in this role will be primarily passionate about support engineering for the Tax and Corporate Actions products. This role includes working closely with technology and business partners to investigate issues, assure sufficient preparation for changes, and driving improvements to prevent instability from occurring.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Participate in projects that apply application patterns and analytics to improve service standards.
  • Monitor system metrics and provide input to improve scalability, dependability, and performance.
  • Support strategies that improve platform reliability, stability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support data-driven models that highlight the impact of automation efforts.
  • Contribute to support engineering efforts across critical brokerage recordkeeping products. Collaborate with product teams to enhance availability, resilience, and stability.
  • Experience with mainframe COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM and SQL
  • Performing disaster recovery testing
  • Understating Tax Reporting/Cost basis and Corporate Actions applications is a plus

The Team

Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology Support Engineering is passionate about four key dimensions of stability – Adaptable, Reliable, Resilient, and Ready. The team was developed to remove distractions related to ongoing operations for delivery teams, while driving protocols and standards to engineering and change practices. Members of the team are exposed to all aspects of the brokerage platform including its consumers and 3rd party dependencies. Members of this team are intimately familiar with how a world class brokerage platform is built, how it operates, and how it is changing through modernization.

Pay Range: $75-$91/hr

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
