Position Summary

We are seeking a data-driven Social Media Analyst to turn audience behavior across social platforms into actionable insights. The role will support the monthly reporting across the full Proximo Spirits portfolio organic and paid performance, analyzing competitive activity and proactive social listening to uncover insights.

The ideal candidate doesn’t just deliver reports, they deliver answers and solutions. Must have experience working with social media reporting tools (ie. BrandWatch, Meltwater, Hootsuite).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze KPI’s like reach, impressions and engagement rate across social channels. Create and maintain dashboards for the marketing team.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze organic and paid performance to identify what’s driving performance.
  • Competitor Benchmarking: Analyze competitor’s social media to identify what’s working and key opportunity areas
  • Social Listening & Trends: Monitor online conversations and trends to keep us ahead of the curve
  • Ad Hoc Analyses: Conduct deep-dive reporting to answer specific business questions
  • Collaboration: Partner with the brand marketing and content teams to refine content strategies based on data.

Key Competencies

  • Analytical Tools: Proficiency in native platforms (ie,. Meta Business Suite) and social analytics tools (ie. BrandWatch, Meltwater, Hootsuite).
  • Data Interpretation: Able to see stories and create recommendations out of large datasets
  • Curiosity: Passion for social media and naturally inclined to dig deeper to understand the “why”

  • External: Agency Partners

Knowledge and Experience

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years in social media analytics, digital marketing or a related data-heavy role
  • Passionate about social media & trends, and conversations in spirits, cocktails, and culture.
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver timely reports
  • Experience with social listening tools (ie. BrandWatch, Meltwater, Hootsuite).

This position is compensated at an hourly rate of $47.00–$57.00, with full‑time hours (40 hours per week). The range will vary if outside of this location. Salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
